Raw text
At the beginning there is no finished text, only material: spoken, written, dictated, collected.

A workshop note about language, raw text, ChatGPT and many revisions until a thought becomes a readable text.
At the beginning there is no finished text, only material: spoken, written, dictated, collected.
Writing means turning a thought until it can breathe for the reader.
ChatGPT is not the secret author, but counter-reader, corrector and whetstone.
Does a thought begin by hand, by dictation, on a computer or in conversation? The honest answer is: in all these ways.
First there is raw material. Sentences that already want something, but do not yet know exactly where they should stand.
AI may smooth a sentence, sharpen a thought or show where something still does not fit. The direction and final decision remain human.
The AI does not replace the thought.
It helps make it more visible.
